“The big picture; … people forget about the big picture, and to live for a worthy cause”. These were the words that I took away from a talk by Dr. Vandana Shiva. I was then able to source my sense of dissatisfaction and stagnation; my passion for life encompassed much more than just designing and engineering medical devices. In addition to not being challenged enough at work, I was feeling trapped in the hierarchical corporate setting where creativity was not necessarily encouraged.
